Episode 372
Thirty-three-year-old Jason Schaefer was delivering mail on a quiet afternoon in Longmont, Colorado, when bullets assaulted him. Witnesses saw a figure run from the mailboxes, covered in a hoodie and mask, and at first, the case seemed to point in one direction. But as detectives traced Jason’s final day, they uncovered a tangled web of jealousy, custody fights, family betrayal, and secrets hiding in plain sight, all surrounding a young father who never made it home from work.
