In March of 2011, the brutal and horrific murder of 16-year-old track star Mickie Costanzo left the community of West Wendover, Nevada completely heartbroken. Within days of the murder, investigators thought they solved the crime. The presumed culprit had confessed and the case was handed over to the district attorney, but weeks later, something unexpected happened.
