In 2011 during the scorching Arizona summer, family members awoke one morning to discover the body of 10 year old Ame Deal, curled up in a sturdy foot locker after a game of hide and seek the previous night. No one could be sure exactly what had happened because they had all gone to bed. Now they were scrambling to protect one another in this large, extended family living under one roof.
